My fully-upgraded Last Hope isn't as effective as I thought it would be, because apparently, it was nerfed. So...

How do you get weapons up to Level 17 when it says that 16 is the max?
I went and bought Renegade. IT's really good, and better than I thought.
To get weapons up to Combat Level 17, you need to have the fully upgraded version of the weapon before the 13.5.0 update. After you update Pixel Gun 3D to the 13.5.0 version of the game, your weapons will be buffed depending on what upgrade the weapon had. If it's fully upgraded, then it will be buffed to Combat Level 17 (but it varies from weapon to weapon). Or, you win it from an Event Chest, but the Combat Level of the weapon depends on what level bracket you are in. For example: after the 13.5.0 update, you can only upgrade the Railgun up to Combat Level 14, but since you won it from the Novice Chest and you were Level 32+, yours was buffed to Combat Level 17.
But in the end, it doesn't really matter now, because the previous upgrade system was returned. XD
At least, until I realized that my Railgun (and yours as well) was given an efficiency of 32 in the new update. O_O
Well, the efficiency still sucks for the railgun. It takes two shots now. Renegade takes 3-4. There's one gun in the game that I know still one-shots, but I'm too scared to talk about it, in case Cubic Games nerfs it.
Is it the 1-14-20-9 - 3-8-1-13-16-9-15-14 18-9-6-12-5? Because if it is, then I wouldn't be surprised.
No. It's Deadly Beat. It one shots 90% of the time. Turns out I was wrong though. Circus Cannon, Big Buddy, and Apocalypse all one-shot.
Oh my goodness.
In all honesty, I believe that Cubic.Games could've done better in implementing this new upgrade system.
The Combat Level system was hated because of the unfairly high upgrade prices compared to the purchase price of the weapon. But Cubic.Games could've fixed the system if they did the following:
1. Implementing MUCH cheaper upgrade prices (similar to what we have now).
2. Making the Combat Level system less complicated and making it so that every weapon can be upgraded to either Combat Level 15, 16, or 17, instead of confusing everybody.
The highlights of the new upgrade system were the significantly cheaper upgrade prices and the nerfing of many weapons. But a lot of the nerfs didn't make any sense at all.
For example: Sniper Rifles are supposed to be one of the most powerful weapons in the game, capable of taking down opponents in about 1-3 shots. But this new update made it so that NEARLY EVERY Sniper Rifle was nerfed to a two shot kill (or, in the worst case scenario, nearly AN ENTIRE MAGAZINE).
It's worse between the original weapons and the reskins. What made the reskins more attractive were their higher stats compared to the original weapons. But now that both the original weapons AND the reskins do the same damage, they might as well combine the original and the reskin, because there's no point in buying two weapons with identical stats, ESPECIALLY if one of them is more expensive than the other.
Yeah. Like Alien Sniper Rifle, I think it barely kills before running out of ammo. They haven't even changed it's stats for firerate yet. The good thing is I don't face any op weapons anymore, but I'm facing new weapons that are taking their place, like the Rocket Launcher.
Yeah. I think I've been killed with the Rocket Launcher more times today than the ENTIRE LIFESPAN of the weapon itself. O_O
What do you think?
