The King Grunt Zombie was a boss in the early versions of the game, and appears after wave 9 in the Arena. It is similar to the Grunt Zombie and the Giant Grunt Zombie.
Appearance
Like the Grunt Zombie and the Giant Grunt Zombie, it is a light green zombie with yellow eyes and an elongated, triangle-shaped mouth. It wears some dark gray cloth near its wrists.
It also wears ripped blue shorts and large dark gray shoes. The only difference between the three enemies is that the King Grunt Zombie is slightly bigger than the Weird Zombie. It has a hole over its heart, which suggests that when it was living, it was killed, Odysseus style.
Behavior
It will slowly approach you and deal minimal damage when it gets in melee range.

Tips
Use any weapon to knock him down, but do try to conserve your sniper ammo, it is recommended to use a backup weapon like the shotgun pistol.
Another tip is to try and jump and land on his head then use a shotgun to deal optimum damage.
Trivia
- It is the first boss to be introduced in Pixel Gun 3D.
- As the name suggests (excluding the word "king"), this boss greatly resembles the Servant Grunt from Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
