The Mercenary Hat, formerly called the "Serious Man's Hat", is a hat introduced in the 1.0.0 update.
Appearance
The Serious Man's Hat is a black and red hat with a gold buckle in the middle. It bears some resemblance both to a fedora and a bowler hat, primarily the latter.

It increases damage for the weapons from the Backup category.

- Use this to increase the damage of Backup weapons.
- Aim for the head to maximize the damage of Backup weapons.
Counters
- Watch out for Backup weapon users with the Serious Man's Hat. Take them out from long range or ambush them.
