Peashooter is an enemy introduced in the 10.0.0 update. Arena, Campaign, Co-op Survival, and Raid.

Appearance[]

This monster has a purple head with white specks dotting it, and it has green stems with green leaves at the ends, which act as its feet. Also, it has a red tongue.

Behavior[]

This monster will move towards you and shoot green projectiles of acid from its mouth when it is close enough. The shot produced by this enemy looks much like Solar Power Cannon.

Tips[]

  • When fighting this enemy stay far away, as the projectile has a travel time, then proceed to strafe around the projectile.
  • Aim for the head to deal extra damage.
  • Try using a heavy weapon like the rocket launcher.
  • Try rocket jumping over the projectile for a quick dodge.
  • Like the other ranged monsters in Co-Op Survival, be careful as they shoot tons of projectiles at once that will kill you if you don't keep moving.
  • When dealing with monsters, always try to take out the Poisonous Plants first because it deals damage from long ranges.
  • They are easily distracted in Monster Siege.
  • Use a Monster Spawner in Monster Siege to stop them from attacking, like other ranged monsters.
  • Use a travel time weapon to block the projectiles.

Trivia[]

  • It is based on a mixture of the Peashooter and Chomper from Plants Vs. Zombies, since it has both a purple head and shoots projectiles.
  • It may also be a reference to the [1]Foliaath from Mowzie’s Mobs, an old Minecraft mod released in 2016.
  • This monster is used as a base design for other reskins of this monster, one of them being the Code Poisonous Plant.
  • Some people say this is the most annoying mob.
  • The official name of this mob was never confirmed, however, there is a Siege Turret based off this monster. That is also called the Poisonous Plant.
  • Similar to the Venom Soldier in Raid, its venomous projectiles also do area damage as well.
  • The Poisonous Plant is similar to the Piranhas from Mario, as portrayed in the weapon Tube Backpack.
  • There is another type of Peashooter in the Campaign modes that is colored Gray and Red instead of Green and Purple.
  • It can be found in the Halloween version of Pixel Gun Office, though it looks different.
