The Thanksgiving Pie is a Special weapon introduced in the 15.5.0 update. This weapon was obtainable from the Cyber Pilgrim Set that included: Cyber Pilgrim, Triple Musket, Thanksgiving Pie, and Corn Launcher.
Description[]
It is a frying pan weapon that throws a pie. It has good damage, a mediocre fire rate, a medium carrying capacity since it doesn’t need to reload, and a decent mobility.
Appearance[]
It appears as a grey metal frying pan with a pie inside it. The pie has a light brown crust, red dots as tomatoes, berries or apples(presumably), and white stripes. There is a body of the frying pan and a handle.
Performance[]
The player swings this pan so that they can throw the pie. The pie can deal area damage on impact. This pie has a slow bullet travel time and a looping shot attribute, which means the weapon is shot in a trajectory form. This pie also has a splash radius on impact and can slow down the affected targets.
This weapon uses the single-shot system, so it has no reload animation, besides the player putting another pie. It has no delay mechanics.
Strategy[]
Tips[]
- This particular weapon’s loop is more extreme than some of the other grenade launchers, so try aiming your shots upward and attacking from closer range.
- Do not try using it against flying targets, as the looping shot is quite slow and as such isn’t exactly effective against them
- Try to use this at close range, as the looping shot attribute makes it hard to aim long distances
- Try strafing while aiming to prevent enemies from hitting you when engaged in a firefight.
- If an enemy is hit, finish them off with a Primary or Backup weapon.
Counters[]
- Pick off the user at long range.
- A one shot sniper or a high dps rifle is useful.
- Area damage weapons and shotguns can quickly finish users off.
- Any automatic weapons can disorient its users.
- Strafe around the user while firing to avoid getting hit.
- The use of a jetpack can essentially shut down most looping projectiles.
- You can also rocket jump to get a height advantage.
